Tenure-Track Faculty Position in Data-Driven Advanced Manufacturing
The Department of Aerospace and Mechanical Engineering and the Department of Computer Science and Engineering invite applications for a tenure-track faculty position in the area of data-driven advanced manufacturing. This faculty member may be appointed by either department or may hold a joint appointment with both departments. The position is part of a Data and Society cluster hiring initiative, and the faculty member is anticipated to be affiliated with or to significantly interact with both the newly established iNDustry Labs and Institute for Data & Society. Teaching Professor in Construction Engineering & Management
This non-tenure-track teaching faculty position will be primarily responsible for construction engineering and management (CEM) course development and coverage. The appointment will be made within the Department of Civil & Environmental Engineering and Earth Sciences. Teaching responsibilities for curriculum and course offerings will have both departmental and campus-wide breadth, and will extend across multiple disciplines. Additional course delivery activities may include graduate-level CEM course delivery within the department’s new professional-focused master of engineering degree program. Professor of the Practice in Heavy Civil Engineering
This non-tenure-track professor of the practice faculty position will be responsible for teaching courses and developing an experiential learning program within the Department of Civil & Environmental Engineering and Earth Sciences (CEEES). Responsibilities will include the development and the delivery of new hands-on, laboratory course electives integrated within the ND-CEEES undergraduate civil and environmental engineering curriculum. These courses will expose students to hands-on experiences in surveying, construction methods, materials, non-destructive and destructive test methods to bridge the gap between theory and design.
