Faculty Position in Global Health Economics
Notre Dame’s Keough School of Global Affairs in collaboration with the Eck Institute for Global Health (EIGH) invites applications for a faculty position in global health economics, with a preference for scholars whose research and teaching interests focus on the economic analysis of health policies and programs within developing countries. Depending on the candidate’s specific qualifications and experience, the position will be either a tenure-line or a renewable-term appointment as a professorship of the practice, rank open. The professor’s specific responsibilities will depend on the nature and rank of the appointment, but will include research, teaching, and public practice components. Applicants for this position may come from any relevant field in global health and/or public policy provided that they have adequate training in economic analysis. The successful hire will be based in the Keough School with an affiliation with EIGH. Institute for Educational Initiatives

Director of the Institute for Educational Initiatives
The University of Notre Dame seeks a director for its Institute for Educational Initiatives (IEI), which strives to improve the education of all children, especially those living in communities of low opportunity. The director of the IEI reports directly to the provost and provides leadership for all aspects of the institute. This includes: articulating and implementing the vision of the IEI; overseeing the leaders of the IEI’s six component units; leading and implementing comprehensive strategic planning exercises; recommending IEI fellows for appointment and reappointment and leading meetings of the fellows; leading efforts to identify and recruit outstanding faculty and professional staff for leadership positions within the institute; promoting the financial health of the IEI and its programs; ensuring the quality and continued improvement of the programs within the IEI; cultivating a spirit of inquiry and scholarship on education-related topics, with a special emphasis on Catholic education and service to low-opportunity students; and engaging diverse stakeholders to enhance awareness of the IEI and to advance its work and reputation. View the Full Job Description

Notre Dame-IBM Technology Ethics Lab Director
The University of Notre Dame’s Technology Ethics Center (ND TEC) seeks a founding director for the newly announced Notre Dame-IBM Technology Ethics Lab. The Notre Dame-IBM Technology Ethics Lab, founded in partnership with IBM, will serve as the primary vehicle through which the ND TEC engages with private industry, policymakers, and public interest groups to develop policy and inform industry best practices relating to technology ethics.
